The referundum on the new draft constitution
Related to country: Kenya

I am tired of the politicians in this country!! they fight over nothing and everything but this time they've really outdone themselves. The referundum on the draft constitution.
At first, i naively though all the fuss was for the benefit of the common man, the 'wanjiku' as he's known. But now i see it's all politics in a different name. None of our MPS have our interests in mind. They are only concerned of their own selfish gains.
Does anyone feel me?

Its going to be revolutionary constitution that can only be enacted when the chapter 47 is renegotiated or a treasonable offence to be acted by the president to kick the old costituiton ..reason being that as we go to the referendum the new constitution has no legal backing to make it a legal document..Personally i was for a new constitution because i felt we had an imperial president who wields too much power. If we either say Yes or No to the Wako draft then alot of time and money that was wasted in consensus building will be sacrificed and all this makes the common man the looser! you only have to listen to conflicting views of the Wako draft by the president himself to know things are not right and you as a Wanjiku have to know that there isn't a win-win situation for you! My opinion is that maybe to vote a No will give them the picture of what we feel of the leading class and they might go back to the drawing board.
